There are many advantages to online advertising. One of them is relevance. And what better way to demonstrate relevance than a complete lack thereof? 

I’m inspired to write this post after watching a 6 minute infomercial for the Cyclone Rake

It’s the most popular lawn vacuum in America. Perfect for clearing heavy debris without clogging. You know, like the orange leaves on the 50 acre front lawn of my San Francisco high-rise apartment. 

I didn’t even know people had to deal with falling leaves on lawns. A little regional or demographic targeting might be useful here. 

Now, since it’s a rainy Sunday afternoon (the best time for bad commercials), does anyone else think that a “Little Giant Blueberry” tree that can produce up to 4 pints of berries each day is a little strange?
