I got a tank top at JCrew recently. It came with a little bag of sequins, similarly to how jackets come with buttons in case one falls off. 

The tone of the copy is very diplomatic and preemptively covers J.Crew’s ass when the sequins fall off (which they will).

“Enclosed please find some beads that MAY be helpful IF this garment HAPPENS to require any mending during the COURSE OF WEAR.”
